DO YOU ONLY TEACH CELLO?
I am a dedicated cello teacher and performing cellist with a strong passion for teaching and ensemble music-making. I am always looking for opportunities to inspire students, grow as an educator, and collaborate with others through meaningful musical experiences.
WHERE DO YOU TEACH?
I currently offer in-person lessons at my studio in the MD/DC/VA area, as well as online instruction. I also teach online students in New York City. My main studio is located in McLean, Virginia.
DO YOU HAVE SPECIFIC TEACHING QUALIFICATIONS?
In 2017, I earned my Doctor of Musical Arts in Cello Performance from Stony Brook University, where I studied under the guidance of Professor Colin Carr. I also completed the first-year cello teacher training program at the School for Strings, New York’s premier Suzuki-based music school. my additional teacher training includes Suzuki Cello Units 1–10, Suzuki Early Childhood Education, Applied Practice-Teaching Strategies, and the Suzuki foundation course Every Child Can!.
PAYMENT
Private lesson tuition is billed monthly and is due at the first lesson of each month. Because the number of lesson days may vary from month to month, tuition will fluctuate accordingly. Please refer to your personal tuition calendar for the exact amount due.
